We kicked off Thursday with the Willamette West Habitat for Humanity project. There, Darlington Nagbe and Michael Nanchoff helped build homes for needy families.

Then, it was Jack Jewsbury and Gaston Fernandez at the Oregon Zoo, helping to remove invasive plants, mulching planting beds and doing cleanup.

The Children’s Book Bank hosted a cleanup and refurbishing party with Ben Zemanski to get kids books back into mint condition.

Timber Joey leapt into action at the Oregon Food Bank with Jeanderson, packing and sorting food for hungry families and individuals in need.

At Friends of Trees, Emily Menges helped restore a section of Boeckman Creek, mulching, planting and removing invasive species.

Finally, Kat Williamson and Timber Joey assisted in reviving Rock Creek Greenway by removing trash and English Ivy.
