#PORvSEAon #RCTID: Portland Timbers down Seattle Sounders 4-1

Timbers Wonderland Tifo 6.28.15

The Portland  Timbers took it to the Seattle Sounders early on Sunday, with Darlington Nagbe coming through with a screamer of the goal in the first half. Seattle would equalize before the break, but the Timbers again began to push in the second half.

It was Nagbe again who helped put the Timbers on top, jetting down the middle of the pitch to draw the defense away from Fanendo Adi. A simple pass to the forward and a textbook finish later, the Timbers were up, 2-1.

But it wasn't over.

Just under three minutes later, Adi again found himself on the break and fired it home for his third brace of 2015. In jubilation, he leapt the end board and held up Timber Joey's saw in celebration. Fans cheered even harder during the humid afternoon in Portland and were rewarded with a Rodney Wallace goal at the death to give the Timbers the win, 4-1.

Cascadia has never been bigger and the boys in green and gold stepped up when they needed to. So did fans, as spirits were high on social. Check out the best posts of the night below.
