Rodney Wallace 2, Timbers at Crew SC, 09.26.15

Portland notched its 12th victory of the season Saturday, defeating the Columbus Crew in front of the largest home crowd in Columbus since 2004. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

8Fanendo Adi scored multiple goals in a match for the eighth time in his Timbers career. Since the beginning of the 2014 season, the Nigerian forward leads MLS in braces with eight, one ahead of his fellow countryman, Obafemi Martins. With his two goals against Crew SC, Adi now has 12 goals on the season, which is a new Timbers MLS single-season record, besting Diego Valeri's goal total in 2014.

4-0-2Since Caleb Porter became manager prior to the 2013 season, Portland has lost just six home matches. Following Portland's victory over Columbus, the Timbers are now 4-0-2 in the matches immediately following a home loss, all of which have been played on the road.

15 Returning to the starting lineup for the first time in four matches, Rodney Wallace delivered the game-winning assist. The Costa Rica native now has 15 career assists for Portland, which ties him with Jack Jewsbury for 11th place on the Timbers all-era assists chart.
