#StatMan Three | Vancouver Whitecaps FC 0, Portland Timbers 2 | Nov. 8, 2015

After a scoreless home draw a week earlier, the Portland Timbers knocked Vancouver Whitecaps FC out of the playoffs Sunday night with a 2-0 victory at BC Place. It was the fourth straight road victory for the Timbers across all matches, a streak that started on Sept. 26 at the Columbus Crew SC. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

17 Forward Fanendo Adi has scored 17 goals over all competitions for the Timbers in 2015, placing him one goal shy of the all-time Timbers single season goalscoring record. Adi trails Peter Withe (1975), Fadi Afash (2002), McKinley Tennyson (2002), and Byron Alvarez (2004).

0 For the first time in club history, Portland has recorded multiple shutouts in a single postseason. Going back to the USL era, the Timbers have three consecutive clean sheets against the Whitecaps in the playoffs.

4 Portland now has four victories across all competitions at BC Place, which is the most by any visiting MLS team. Since joining MLS, the Timbers overall record when playing in Vancouver is 4-1-2.
