Christine Sinclair will have to wait at least one more game to pass USWNT legend Mia Hamm, but despite not getting on the score sheet against Guyana the Canadian international was instrumental in Canada’s 5-0 win against Guyana on Thursday night in Houston.
Sinclair saw several close chances turned away throughout the match and added two assists on the night, bringing her international assist total up to 41. On corner kick duty, Sinclair provide quality service, first to Ashley Lawrence in the 28th and to Lawrence again later in the match as she held off three defenders in the box before laying a ball off to Lawrence for the finish in the 48th minute.
