7 Coming off the bench, Jack McInerney made his Timbers debut, scoring a late goal that ended San Jose's hopes of a clean sheet. Despite being just 23 years of age, McInerney has scored in seven different MLS seasons since making his league debut in 2010. 

41/44 Diego Chara continued his impressive start to the season, successfully completing 41 of his 44 attempted passes. On the defensive end, the Colombian midfielder tied for the team lead in tackles with four. 

37 With his late goal, McInerney became the 37th different player to score a goal for the Portland Timbers in MLS regular-season play.
