Six Thorns FC players have been called into camp during the upcoming FIFA window for the United States: Adrianna Franch, Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan, Allie Long, Meghan Klingenberg and Emily Sonnett, while Dagny Brynjarsdottir (Iceland) and Nadia Nadim (Denmark) have been selected to represent their national teams as 2017 EURO qualifying matches continue beginning the week of June 2. In addition, Christine Sinclair and Canada will host Brazil for a pair of friendly matches on June 4 and June 7.
All six U.S. players will depart for camp on May 27 as they prepare for games against Japan on June 2 in Denver (6 p.m., FS1) and June 5 in Cleveland (9:30 a.m., ESPN2). Brynjarsdottir and Iceland take on Scotland (June 3) and Macedonia (June 7), while Nadim and Denmark square off against Slovakia (June 2) and Poland (June 7).
