Today's events started at the Latino Network with Timbers midfielder Lucas Melano joining with Thorns FC's Mana Shim, plus T2's Alexis Meva and Steve Palacios helping spruce up the HB Lee Middle School garden. Over at Vestal Middle School, Thorns goalkeeper Michelle Betos joined volunteers from adidas to work with Playworks! Pacific Northwest and Timber Joey to help with a festive Field Day. Down on the farm, or more specifically, Friends of Zenger Farms, Providence Health & Services volunteers along with volunteers from Simple worked alongside Timbers defender Alvas Powell, T2's Brad Richards and Thorns FC's Katherine Reynolds and Celeste Boureille. The group helped weed and prepare the farm for the organization's summer programs. Continuing with the farm work, at the OHDC Supa Fresh Farm, Timbers goalkeeper Wade Hamilton and Thorns defender Meg Morris got to improve their green thumbs as they planted new vegetables and flowers. Finally, Alaska Airlines staffers joined University of Portland volunteers  worked with Thorns defender (and UP alum) Kendall Johnson to lead some soccer scrimmages with kids and 4 Worlds United Soccer Alliance.
