Quick Strikes | Diego Valeri, Fanendo Adi one of the most prolific goal-scoring duos in MLS

Diego Valeri, Fanendo Adi, Timbers vs. Seattle, 7.17.16

Winners of three straight competitive home matches, the Portland Timbers return home to take on Real Salt Lake Saturday (7:30pm PT, ROOT SPORTS). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvRSL in the latest Quick Strikes.

6 Since debuting with the Timbers in May 2014, forward Fanendo Adi has scored six goals against RSL, which is tied for third-most by any MLS player against a single opponent in that timespan. Only RBNY's Bradley Wright-Philips against NYCFC and Adi against Seattle Sounders FC have more.

170 Midfielders Diego Chara and Darlington Nagbe have each started 170 regular-season matches for the Timbers. The 170 matches are tied for the most league matches ever started by a Timbers player in the history of the club.

7 Portland is undefeated in its last seven matches against Real Salt Lake. That is one match shy of the longest unbeaten streak the Timbers have had against a single opponent in MLS games (vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC from Aug. 20, 2011 to Oct. 6, 2013).

24 Midfielder Diego Valeri and Adi have combined for one of most successful scoring duos in MLS in 2016. The pair have scored 24 goals between them, which is the second-most of any teammate duo this season, trailing only NYCFC's David Villa and Frank Lampard.

147 For the first time in a span of 147 days, the Timbers will host a Saturday night match at Providence Park. The last time Portland played a home game on a Saturday evening the club defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 on April 16.
