Annual Stand Together banquet auction opens today; Bid on buying season tickets for 2017

Timber Joey, Stand Together, 5.26.16

For the first time, the Portland Thorns will be joining the Portland Timbers to celebrate the sixth annual Stand Together Banquet at The Nines Hotel in downtown Portland on Sunday evening. Proceeds from the event and auction benefit the Timbers and Thorns charitable work in the community. Many one-of-a-kind items will be available for auction with many on the clubs’ mobile-friendly, online auction platform.

Beginning September 14, 2016, all the exclusive items and experiences will go live on www.PTFC.gesture.com. One lucky winner will be able to secure two (2) annual memberships to the 2017 Portland Timbers season, seats that were specially set aside for this charitable event. In addition, others can take home four (4) annual memberships to the 2017 Portland Thorns season, a jersey signed by the 2015 MLS Cup champions, photos signed by members of the U.S. Women’s National Team or win the opportunity to “Train Like a Timber” at the adidas Timbers Training Facility. Be sure to browse the exciting signed team memorabilia and gear.

In addition, a limited number of “Golden Tickets” will be available for purchase. Five winners will be able to take home one of the following experiences: an exclusive stay at the Stephanie Inn, a suite to a 2017 Timbers and Thorns match, the MLS Cup for a day, two (2) air travel vouchers on Alaska Airlines or a shopping spree to the adidas Employee Store.

Everyone will remain up-to-date on the status of their bids with text message notifications. Be sure to register before the event by texting “PTFC” to 52182 or visiting PTFC.gesture.com.
