PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers extended their 2017 home unbeaten streak to three games as they played to a 1-1 draw against the New England Revolution Sunday evening in front of a crowd 21,144 at Providence Park. Midfielder Diego Valeri scored a first-half volley for his fifth goal of the regular-season.

2’ – SAVE. New England’s Kelyn Rowe tested the Timbers early with a shot from distance that forced a diving stop from goalkeeper Jake Gleeson.

12’ – GOAL. Midfielder Diego Valeri scored a highlight reel golazo with a scorching shot from inside the 18-yard box. Following a Diego Chara cross that was deflected high into the air, Valeri spun and hit the ball on the volley into the upper left corner to give Portland a 1-0 lead.

85' - GOAL. New England tied the game late in the second half as midfielder Lee Nguyen pounced on a loose ball in the box before roofing it into the back of the net to make it 1-1.
