Midfielder Adrian Villegas has been called up to the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team’s 20-player roster for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, which is set to place from April 21-May 7 in Panama. Paired with U-17 sides from Jamaica, Mexico and El Salvador, Villegas and the United States will open the tournament against Jamaica on Sunday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. (Pacific), before taking on Mexico on Wednesday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m. (Pacific). The U-17 USMNT will close out group play against El Salvador on Saturday, April 29, at 8:30 a.m. (Pacific). All three of the team’s group-stage matches will be live streamed on the CONCACAF Facebook page.
The 2017 CONCACAF U-17 championship will also serve as the qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be played in India from Oct. 6-28.
