Quick Strikes | Five key numbers to know for #PORvDAL

Liam Ridgewell, Timbers vs. SJ, 6.2.17

Looking to extend a six-game home winning streak into the month of June, the Portland Timbers square off with FC Dallas Saturday at Providence Park (7:30pm PT, KPTV). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvDAL in the latest edition of Quick Strikes.

29 With his two goals against San Jose, Diego Valeri has now scored 29 goals at home during his five seasons with the Timbers. That places Valeri first for most MLS goals at Providence Park, one more than teammate Fanendo Adi

400 Defender Liam Ridgewell has played in 400 league matches during his professional career. Ridgewell made his professional debut when he helped Bournemouth to a 2-1 victory over Hartlepool on Oct. 13, 2002, at the age of 18.

18 After helping Portland to a shutout in their last match, goalkeeper Jake Gleeson has now won 18 games for the Timbers. The 18 wins passes Adam Kwarasey for second-most wins in MLS for a Timbers goalkeeper and sixth-most in all eras of the club (since 1975).

2X2 Valeri has had seven braces over the course of his Timbers career. Since the beginning of the 2013 season, the Timbers are the only club to have multiple players with seven or more braces–the other player being Adi with 12.

47 In his seventh season with the Timbers, midfielder Diego Chara continues to be a presence in the center of the field. Chara's 47 tackles in 2017 are tied for second-most in MLS play.
