PORTLAND, Ore. – The National Women’s Soccer League today announced new kickoff times for 23 games throughout the remainder of the 2017 season, including four Portland Thorns FC home matches that will now kick off at 12:30 p.m. (Pacific) and will be featured as the NWSL Game of the Week on Lifetime.
Originally set for a 1 p.m. (Pacific) kickoff, matches against the North Carolina Courage (July 15), Houston Dash (Aug. 5), Washington Spirit (Sept. 2) and Chicago Red Stars (Sept. 30) at Providence Park will kick off at 12:30 p.m. (Pacific). Additionally, Portland’s match on the road against the Orlando Pride, originally scheduled for 2 p.m. (Pacific) on Saturday, Sept. 23, has changed to 12:30 p.m. (Pacific).
Thorns FC return to action this week, playing host to Sky Blue FC on Saturday, June 17, at Providence Park. Saturday’s match kicks off at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with a live, high-definition web stream at www.nwslsoccer.com and www.go90.com.
