Time is running out to vote for the 2017 MLS All-Star Game! Vote Timbers!

Voting for this year’s 2017 MLS All-Star Game, presented by Target is nearing its end (June 30, midnight PT) and it’s up to you to send your favorite players to Chicago for this year’s festivities and a chance to take on Real Madrid.

To help you make the case for some Timbers players, read on.

Diego Valeri has been a dominant force in the Portland midfield this season. The midfielder is on pace for a career goal-scoring season, and currently leads his team in minutes/goal (154.33). Valeri leads the 2017 Timbers in assists (6) and is tied for Portland’s goal scoring lead with Fanendo Adi at nine, while also leading the league in braces (3). His work on the pitch has earned him four Team of the Week honors this season (Week 1, Week 3, Week 14, Week 15) as well as a Player of the Week nod (Week 1) for his two-goal, one-assist performance against Minnesota United FC. Valeri is also one of only two players who have recorded five or more assists in each of the last five MLS seasons. VOTE: Valeri

Fanendo Adi is as dangerous as he is consistent. Thanks to his two-goal performance against FC Dallas on June 10, the 26-year-old forward became the only player in MLS to score at least eight goals in each of the last four seasons. The brace, his second of the season, also netted him MLS Player of the Week and Team of the Week honors for Week 15. Adi is tied with Diego Valeri for the team lead in goals (9) during a season in which he assumed the title of Timbers all-era scoring leader (50).  Adi leads the league with the most touches in an opponent’s box this year (125). He ranks second in MLS in braces (2), fourth in goals (9) and fifth in shots (54) and shots on goal (24). Additionally, only two MLS players have outscored Adi’s 50 goals since the Nigerian striker debuted for the Timbers in 2014. VOTE: Adi

Diego Chara has held down the Portland midfield with his intensity of play and passing accuracy this season. The all-time Timbers leader in minutes played, Chara ranks fifth in tackles this season (53) and places fourth in tackles won (40). He has also accumulated the second most tackles in MLS since the beginning of the 2011 season. His passing accuracy ranks among the best in the league this season at 88.56%, and the midfielder is searching for his first All-Star game selection. VOTE: Chara

Darlington Nagbe’s passing has ranked amongst the very best in MLS in 2017. Nagbe, who was called up to play in seven international games for the U.S. Men’s National Team this season, commands the fifth-best passing accuracy of any attacking player (minimum 100 passes) with 90.79%, and has won the most fouls since the start of the 2011 MLS season. The Timbers all-time leader in games played has also scored two goals and recorded three assists on the season. VOTE: Nagbe
