The Portland Timbers will take on Eastern Conference-leading Chicago Fire Wednesday night at Providence Park (7:30pm PT, KPDX). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvCHI in the latest edition of Quick Strikes. 


<10 In their last three games, the Timbers have held opponents to seven, nine, and nine shots respectively. It is the first time ever that Portland has held opponents to less than 10 shots in consecutive MLS matches. 


47Diego Valeri has scored 47 goals in MLS since making his Timbers debut in 2013, good for seventh-most in MLS in that period. Portland is the only team in the league with two goalscorers in the top 10 in that time period with Fanendo Adi placing sixth with 50 goals.
