#StatMan Three | Sebastián Blanco scores third goal of season, and earns first log slice at Providence Park

In a midweek clash, the Portland Timbers drew the Chicago Fire 2-2 Wednesday night at Providence Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from #PORvCHI.


7Sebastián Blanco’s second-half equalizer was his third goal of the regular-season. The goal was also Blanco’s first of his career at Providence Park (and first log slice) while teammate Diego Valeri contributed his seventh assist of the year on the strike. 


9 Portland fired nine shots on target in the match, the most by the club in a game in 2017. The 24 total shots attempted was also a season high for the Timbers. 


10 With his first-half penalty kick, Fanendo Adi now has 10 goals for the season. It is the third consecutive season that Adi has hit double-digit goals for the Timbers.
