PORTLAND, Ore. – The National Women’s Soccer League today announced that the Portland Thorns FC match against the Houston Dash at Providence Park on Saturday, Aug. 5, has been moved to 11 a.m. (Pacific) due to excessive heat forecast for the Portland, Ore., area. Saturday’s match against the Dash will be broadcast as the NWSL Game of the Week on Lifetime.
Originally scheduled for 12:30 p.m. (Pacific), the new start time will allow for lower on-field and in-stadium temperatures earlier in the day.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are available by calling (888) 736-6849 or online here. Additionally, fans can purchase tickets at the Providence Park box office, which is open Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Pacific) and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific).
