45+2' - GOAL (POR) - A penalty kick was awarded for Portland when Valeri lofted a great ball forward to Mattocks who had split the Seattle defense. Mattocks chested it down as he went in but then Frei came off his line to take the forward down in the box. Referee Mark Geiger pointed to the spot and Valeri converted to his left to score his team-leading 16th goal of the season to even the score at 1-1.

47' - SAVE (POR) - Seattle's Jordan Morris broke through on goal down the right side, carried towards goal and shot but Timbers goalkeeper Jeff Attinella cut down the angle and smothered the ball for the save.

56' - SAVE (POR) - Attinella came up big again to deny Morris on a point-blank shot in the second half.

80' - CHANCE (POR) - Blanco knifed through the Seattle defense and hit a tight-angled shot on frame that Frei palmed away.
