Thorns FC forward Christine Sinclair scored her 169th international goal to help the Canada Women's National Team to a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Norway in the team's final match of 2017.
Down 2-0 at the half, the Canadians scored three goals in 15 minutes first sparked by Sinclair's goal in the 52nd minute. After pressuring the Norwegian back line, Sinclair forced a turnover before slotting it home (see above).
It was Canada's first-ever win over Norway and gave the team a 7-2-3 record for the year. Moreover, Sinclair's goal leaves her only 16 goals from becoming FIFA’s top women's goal scorer of all time.
