T2 defender Josh Phillips was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 13 after helping Portland to a 1-0 shutout victory over Rio Grande Valley FC Toros at H-E-B Park on June 9.
Phillips scored the game-winning goal, his first of the season, won all nine of his duels and recorded three interceptions and eight clearances in the win over RGVFC. This marks the second time Phillips has been named to the USL Team of the Week this season.
Next up, T2 begin a two-match homestand when they play host to OKC Energy FC at Providence Park on Wednesday, June 13. Beginning at 7 p.m. (Pacific), the match against OKC Energy FC will be streamed live on ESPN+.
