T2 Quotes

T2 head coach Cameron Knowles

General thoughts on the match…
"It's obviously disappointing that we didn't get any points out of the game. I felt that in large stretches of the game we played really well. We created some really good chances, but we were just missing that final piece. Credit to Las Vegas, they took the chances they had. It's difficult to drop points at home."

On how the heat played a part in the match...
"It's the same for both teams. We may have had to play a little bit deeper and pick and choose our moments to initiate pressure, but I thought the guys played really well; we just missed that final piece."

On the team's second-half performance...
"It's the nature of the game – we were chasing it a little bit. We were getting a lot of the ball and a lot of chances, but we really needed one of those chances to fall for us [early] to unlock things."

On Jack Barmby's performance...
"He was good. I think that the work from Foster [Langsdorf] to create [the goal] was very good. There are a few guys that performed really well but it was a good finish and we needed it to go in. He's been working hard the last couple of weeks so credit to him."

On the upcoming match against LA Galaxy II...
"Like every road game now, we've got to make up for home results. We've got to go out and really put our best foot forward and put ourselves in the best position for these road games."
