#StatMan Three | Armenteros scores eighth goal of season, Conechny makes his Timbers debut

In their first midweek MLS match of the season, the Portland Timbers lost 4-1 to D.C. United at Audi Field on Wednesday night. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the #DCvPOR. 

5 Sebastián Blanco delivered an assist on Portland's goal to give the midfielder his fifth assist of the season. Blanco is behind just Diego Valeri for most assists by a Timbers player in 2018. 

8 With his first-half goal, Samuel Armenteros has now scored eight goals in his debut MLS season. His goals per 90 minutes average of .79 is the fourth-highest in MLS this year among players with at least 1,000 minutes played. 

1Andy Polo notched his first assist of the year becoming the ninth different Timbers player with a helper this season. Meanwhile, midfielder Tomás Conechny made his first MLS appearance in a Timbers uniform.
