PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC will play host to Seattle Reign FC in the semifinal round of 2018 NWSL Playoffs at Providence Park on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 12 noon (Pacific). Thorns FC (12-6-6, 42pts) secured the No. 2 seed in the NWSL playoffs with a 3-1 victory over Seattle at Providence Park on Friday evening. It marks Portland’s fifth playoff berth in six seasons and the club’s third straight season with a home playoff match.
The winner of the Sept. 15 playoff game will advance to the 2018 NWSL Championship at Providence Park on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 1:30 p.m. (Pacific) on Lifetime. Tickets for that match are on sale online now.
