Match Moments

10' - SAVE (POR) - Portland goalkeeper Jeff Attinella came up big early on a Whitecaps corner kick. Vancouver's Doneil Henry snapped a header down that bounced off the turf and headed towards the top corner of the net only to have Attinella leap high to his left to tip over the bar.

28' - GOAL (VAN) - Whitecaps midfielder Alphonso Davies, making his final appearance for the club, dribbled down the left side of the field before cutting into the middle and firing a left-footed shot from the edge of the 18-yard box that gave Vancouver a 1-0 lead.

32' - GOAL (VAN) - Four minutes later, Davies scored again for Vancouver when he stole the ball away from Portland's Marco Farfan deep in the Portland end and slotted it in for a 2-0 Whitecaps lead.

47' - CHANCE (POR) - Portland's Farfan whipped a free kick into the Vancouver mixer that defender Bill Tuiloma headed just wide of the left post.

58' - SAVE (POR) - Attinella dove to his left to make a great fingertip save on a headed shot by Vancouver's Kei Kamara.

67' - SAVE (POR) - Attinella came out to smother a cross from Kamara and deny a chance from Vancouver's Davies.

73' - CHANCE (POR) - Timbers attacker Lucas Melano, with space in the 18-yard box, headed a cross on frame but right at Vancouver goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic.

90' - GOAL (POR) - Andrés Flores got on the end of a threaded ball across the face of goal from Dairon Asprilla and slid home his first goal in Major League Soccer to make the score 2-1 late.
