#StatMan Three | Timbers set team record with 16 different goalscorers in 2018

The Portland Timbers closed out their 2018 MLS regular season with a 2-1 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on MLS Decision Day presented by AT&T. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #VANvPOR. 


16 With his goal, Andrés Flores became the 16th different Timbers player to score a goal this season. The 16 different goalscorers are the most different goalscorers the Timbers have ever had in a single season. The goal was also Flores' first of his MLS career.


10 Portland has scored in all 10 of its MLS regular-season matches at BC Place. Dating back to USL era, the Timbers have scored in 12 consecutive league matches at the Whitecaps. 


4 For the fourth time in their MLS history, the Portland Timbers have qualified for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. In their only previous Knockout Round match, the Timbers defeated Sporting Kansas City in a penalty kick shootout in 2015.
