6 With his second half strike, Sebastián Blanco scored his sixth goal in his last six starts for Portland. The goal was also Blanco's third goal against the Sounders this season. 


3Dairon Asprilla's extra-time goal was his third goal in postseason play for the Timbers. Asprilla, who also scored the series-winning penalty kick, is second on Portland's all-era list with three playoff goals. 


2 For the second time in Portland's all-era history, the club advanced in the playoffs in a penalty-kick shootout. The only other time the Timbers had advanced on penalty kicks was the 11-round shootout victory over Sporting Kansas City in 2015.
