#StatMan Three | Fernandez scores Portland's quickest debut goal in club's MLS history

On their 11th consecutive road match, the Portland Timbers secured a 1-1 draw against the Houston Dynamo, Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Stadium. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #HOUvPOR. 

12 Just 12 minutes into his Timbers debut, forward Brian Fernandez scored the game-tying goal. It is the quickest goal ever scored by a Timbers player in his MLS debut. 

108 Fernandez wasn't the only player making his Timbers debut with midfielder Renzo Zambrano playing the full 90 minutes in his first MLS match. The Timbers now have had 108 different players see the field in a league match since joining MLS in 2011. 

5 Playing in his 75th MLS match, Sebastián Blanco delivered his fifth assist of the season. Blanco is just one assist behind the four players who currently top the assist charts, one of whom being teammate Diego Valeri
