Despite playing down a man for 35 minutes, the Portland Timbers secured a 2-2 draw against the Colorado Rapids, Saturday night at Providence Park. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


73 With his penalty kick goal, Diego Valeri now has scored 73 goals in MLS regular season play, tying him for 24th on the MLS all-time scoring list. Valeri has also scored 19 more league goals than any other player in Timbers all-era history. 


95.2 Despite attempting a game-high 62 passes, midfielder Diego Chara still was able to have a passing accuracy of 95.2 percent. It is the first time this season that a Timbers player had a passing accuracy of 95 percent or higher when attempting at least 60 passes.
