PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC defender Madison Pogarch has been named to the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team roster for the 2019 Nordic Tournament spanning Aug. 28-Sept. 2 in Loughborough, England.
Pogarch, 22, signed with Thorns FC ahead of the 2019 season, after completing her college career at Rutgers University. In her first season with Portland, Pogarch has appeared in three matches, earning one start. Pogarch made her professional debut on May 25 against Sky Blue FC and earned her first professional start on June 15 against the North Carolina Courage.
The U.S. U-23s will face Norway on Aug. 28 and England on Aug. 30 before finishing the tournament with a match against Sweden on Sept. 2.

U.S. Soccer announced today the addition of Thorns FC forward Simone Charley to the roster.
