For some fans, it's never too soon to hear about the Portland Timbers' next move. For others, especially during the holiday season, it's hard to keep track of every single move.

No matter which group you fall into, don't worry: Timbers.com is here for you.

Throughout the winter, we will be collecting all of the Timbers' signings, trades, draft picks and other roster moves on this page, so that when the 2021 preseason starts, you'll be up-to-date on all the comings and goings with Portland's squad.

The timeline, below, is sorted from the most recent to the oldest transaction of the offseason, with links to press releases and other coverage included, so it's easy to catchup.

Timbers trade eighth-overall for GAME

  • Eighth-overall selection sent to Orlando.
  • Reclaimed a regular play in the Chilean national team.
  • Timbers get $75,000 in General Allocation Money for 2021 season; $25,000 for 2022.
  • Pick originally acquired in trade for Jorge Villafaña.

January 19, 2021

Mora retained on permanent deal

"Felipe pushed for the chance to stay in Portland, which made it possible to acquire him at a favorable transfer fee."

  • Chilean international completes transfer from Pumas.
  • Seven goals, two assists in 19 appearances in 2020 regular season.

Villafaña traded to Galaxy
