Rookie Thorns forward Morgan Weaver is no stranger to the Pacific Northwest. A four-year starter at Washington State in Pullman, Wash., Weaver became the no. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft.
While she's joined her new team in Portland and was part of the first training sessions before the COVID-19 break, it's been an atypical start to her professional career. Nick Krupke of FOX 12 Oregon KPTV sat down to catch up with Weaver via video call.
