Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Chara, in his 10th season with the club, is on the verge of playing his 300th career match across all competitions. A club leader in numerous areas both on-field and off-field, here is a look at some of the incredible numbers of his career ahead of the team's match against New York City FC on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the MLS is Back Tournament Knockout Stage presented by Audi (7:30pm, FS1). 

A native of Cali, Colombia, Chara has played in more Major League Soccer games than any other Colombian player ever with over 90 players from Colombia having appeared in MLS.

300Diego Chara's next appearance – his 300th in a Portland uniform – would mark the second-most matches for a player in all competitions in MLS playing for a single club since Chara's debut in April 2011, behind only San Jose's Chris Wondolowski.
