Quick Strikes | Timbers take on Orlando City with CCL spot on the line

The Portland Timbers will play in their fourth final as a club and their third since 2015 when they take on Orlando City SC in the MLS is Back Tournament Final presented by Wells Fargo on Tuesday (5:30pm PT, ESPN). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvORL in the latest Quick Strikes. 

21 No player in the MLS is Back Tournament has more chances created than Diego Valeri with 21. Valeri is the only player with multiple matches with six chances created in the knockout stage. 

6 For the first time in his Timbers career, Sebastián Blanco has a goal or an assist in six consecutive matches. Blanco is the only player to have a goal or assist in six MLS is Back Tournament matches. 

540 Diego Chara and Steve Clark are the only two Timbers players to have played every minute of the MLS is Back Tournament. Chara is the only midfielder or forward on either Portland or Orlando to have played the full 540 minutes in the competition.

4 Forward Jeremy Ebobisse leads the Timbers with four goals in the tournament. Additionally, Ebobisse scored the late game-tying goal against Orlando in the last matchup between the two clubs in 2019. 

2 Of the four finals the Timbers have ever played in, this will be the second time the club takes on a team from Florida. In the club's inaugural season, Portland took on the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the 1975 Soccer Bowl.
