Having key parts to play in the Portland Timbers' 5-2 victory over the LA Galaxy earned midfielder Yimmi Chara a spot on the MLS Team of the Week (Wk 21) with Jaroslaw Niezgoda grabbing a bench spot. Niezgoda scored a brace in the win with Chara tying an MLS record with four assists in the match. It was Chara's play that also earned Portland a penalty kick goal meaning the Colombian was involved in all five of the Timbers goals.
