THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Portland Timbers2 (13-4-7, 50pts) extended their unbeaten streak to eight-straight games in 2-2 draw at Ventura County FC (11-6-6, 42pts) on Sunday night. Daniel Cervantes converted two penalties in each half to open the scoring and rescue the road result for Portland. Timbers2 earned an additional point in the ensuing penalty kick shootout with a 4-2 win.

T2 extended its current unbeaten streak to eight matches (5-0-3), outscoring their opposition 12-4 in the longest undefeated stretch of all MLS NEXT Pro. Additionally, the last time Portland suffered defeat away was on June 13, registering a 5-0-2 record on the road since and outscoring opponents 13-4 while earning four shutouts.
