Eric Izoita’s brace leads T2 to club record 12th victory

BLAINE, Minn. – Portland Timbers2 extended their unbeaten streak to a fifth straight match (4-0-1) with a 2-1 comeback win over MNUFC2 on the road on Friday evening. After conceding first in the 43rd minute, T2 responded with the equalizer from Eric Izoita five minutes later in the first-half stoppage time. Izoita then notched his second of the night in the 65th minute to secure three points for Portland. With the win, T2 (12-4-5, 43 pts) moved into second place in the Western Conference table while tallying their league-leading eighth road win of the season.

T2 Extends Historic Season

Tonight’s victory moved T2 into second place in the Western Conference standings. Notably, it marked a single-season best 12th win for Timbers2 and league-leading eighth road win. T2 also extended its unbeaten streak to a fifth straight match. Over that span, the team has collected 13 points (4W, 1D), with four of those results coming on the road.
