PORTLAND, Ore. – Timbers2 played to a 1-1 draw against the Tacoma Defiance on Saturday evening at Providence Park. Following regulation, Tacoma prevailed in a penalty kick shootout, 4-2, to earn an additional point.
T2 forward Florian Monzón scored a first-half goal, notching his team-leading seventh of the season.

With their first draw of the season, T2 (8-11-1, 25pts) is just four points back of a playoff spot it the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference.
