It’s your first season with Portland, what three words best describe the Thorns?

Connected, resilient, joyful.

What player do you try to emulate on the field or look up to?

There is not one player that I single out to emulate in my game, especially because I’ve had the privilege of playing multiple positions. I try to take pieces from the best players in the world and study them. For example, Christine Sinclair’s composure and decision making, Kevin De Bruyne’s vision and ball striking ability, Robert Lewandowski’s finishing, and I love to watch how different managers implement a pressing structure and how each position presses and defends.

Do you have any game day routines or superstitions?

I’m not a superstitious person. The only thing I need is coffee.

How would you spend your ideal day off?

Wake up early and enjoy a slow morning with coffee. Workout. I love to run and be outside and always finish the day cooking a good dinner.

If you could only use one social media platform, which would it be and why?

I use Twitter and Instagram the most, but would choose Instagram because I find it most fun to keep up with friends.
