At what point in your life did you know you wanted to play professionally and for the national team?

When I was really young I knew I loved soccer, and probably middle school is when I realized I was really serious about soccer and wanted to play professionally and for the national team.

What does your typical gameday in Portland look like?

Sleep in as late as possible, make my latte at home and drink it on my couch while I read my book for a while. Then I go to or make breakfast at home [depending if I have family in town or not] and go on a little walk [sometimes the walk just happens to be in Target] and then just relax until the game!

What's your biggest motivating factor?

My biggest motivation is just that I love what I do. I love the game and if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to do what I do at the same level."

What was the last book you read and the last show you binge-watched?

Last book I finished was Love & Other Words by Christina Lauren, and currently I'm reading Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I'm binge watching The Bold Type.

What's your go-to karaoke song?

Irreplaceable by Beyonce.
