Portland Thorns FC defeated the North Carolina Courage 1-0 Sunday afternoon at WakeMed Park in Cary, N.C. Here are three numbers to know from the match.


Angela Salem, who played the full 90 minutes in the win, became the 25th player in NWSL history to surpass 10,000 regular-season minutes played when she crossed the 87 minute mark of the match.


Goalkeeper Bella Bixby earned her sixth clean sheet of 2021. It was also her ninth shutout in 13 appearances across all competitions for the club.


With the win, the Thorns snapped North Carolina’s seven-game unbeaten streak. The Courage also hadn’t given up a goal in five straight games.
