#9 - Nadia Nadim
-- Acquired from Sky Blue FC in January via trade.
-- Made 24 league appearances (23 starts) in her first two NWSL seasons with Sky Blue FC, tallying 13 goals and four assists.
-- Began her professional stint with Fortuna Hjørring of Denmark in 2012 and helped the club win a league title in 2014.
-- Made her debut for the Denmark Women’s National Team in 2009 and has earned over 60 international caps.
#21 - Hayley Raso
-- Was part of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup roster for Australia and has 12 caps for the Matildas
-- Appeared in nine games for the Washington Spirit during the 2015 season
-- Began her career with Canberra United in 2011 and had stints with the Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory
#12 - Christine Sinclair
-- Appeared in nine games (8 starts) for the Thorns in the 2015 NWSL season, tallying two goals and two assists.
-- Named the team’s Most Valuable Player for its NWSL championship winning season in 2013.
-- Has appeared 244 times with the Canadian Women's National Team and scored 162 international goals.
-- Ranks second on the all-time international scoring list behind Abby Wambach.
#26 - Mallory Weber
-- Acquired by the Thorns via a trade with the Western New York Flash who drafted Weber with the 14th overall pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft.
-- Helped lead Penn State to a national championship in 2015, tallying eight goals and 11 assists during her senior campaign for the Nittany Lions.
-- Weber recorded 36 goals and 29 assists in 100 career games (97 starts) for Penn State.
-- At the U-20 level, Weber helped lead the United States to the 2014 CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship.
MIDFIELDERS
#11 - Dagný Brynjarsdóttir
-- Was acquired after a stint with German club Bayern Munich, having scored two goals in nine appearances for the 2015 Frauen Bundesliga champions.
-- Helped lead the Florida State Seminoles to the 2014 NCAA Championship during her senior season.
-- During the 2014 campaign, Brynjarsdottir tallied 16 goals and six assists in 23 games, earning NSCAA first-team All-American honors, ACC Offensive Player of the Year accolades, as well as first team All-ACC and ACC Tournament MVP recognition.
-- Began her professional career with Icelandic club Valur in 2007, winning four club titles (2007-10) and the Icelandic Cup three times (2009-11) in seven seasons.
#17 - Tobin Heath
-- Appeared in 12 matches (all starts) for the Thorns in the 2015 NWSL season.
-- Has 116 caps and 15 goals with the U.S. Women's National Team.
-- One of several players who has remained with the Thorns since the team's inaugural season in 2013.
-- Played in six of the seven 2015 World Cup matches for the U.S. Women, starting five, and scored in the World Cup Final, knocking in the fifth and clinching goal in the 5-2 victory against Japan.
#28 - Amandine Henry
-- Signed with Thorns FC from French powerhouse Olympique Lyon, she will join the club later this summer.
-- Helped guide France to the quarterfinal round of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup where she was also awarded that tournament's Silver Ball award.
-- Nominated for FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year and a finalist for the UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe Award in 2015, Henry was recently selected to the FIFPro Women’s World XI.
-- In nine seasons with Division I Féminine side Lyon, Henry helped lead the club to back-to-back UEFA Women’s Champions League titles in 2010-11 and 2011-12, starting and playing all 90 minutes in the championship match both years.
#7 - Lindsey Horan
-- Acquired through U.S. Women's National Team allocation process in January.
-- Played for French club Paris Saint-Germain from 2012-15, appearing in 75 games and tallying 53 goals.
-- Has appeared 16 times and scored two goals for the U.S. Women's National Team.
-- As a youth international, Horan played with the U.S. U-15, U-17 and U-20 Women’s National Teams.
#10 - Allie Long
-- Recently scored two goals for the U.S. Women's National Team in a 7-0 victory over Colombia on April 6.
-- Named to NWSL Best XI at the end of the 2015 NWSL season and was selected as Thorns FC MVP.
-- Started and played in all 20 matches during the 2015 NWSL season.
-- Her 22 goals makes her the Thorns' all-time leading goalscorer.
#30 - Celeste Boureille
-- A rookie, Boureille played at the University of California-Berkeley from 2012-2015
-- In four seasons, Boureille appeared in 84 games for the Golden Bears, tallying 16 goals and eight assists.
-- As a senior in 2015, Boureille registered five goals and two assists, earning second-team All-PAC 12 accolades as she helped guide California to the NCAA Tournament
#6 - Mana Shim
-- Entering her fourth season with Thorns FC in 2016, having first made the team through an open tryout in 2013.
-- Finished the 2015 NWSL season with four goals and four assists, playing in 18 games (13 starts).
-- Played on loan for Iga FC in the Nadeshiko League (Japan) this past offseason.
-- Named the team’s 2013 Newcomer of the Year after tallying five goals and two assists in 19 appearances (17 starts) during her first professional season in 2013.
DEFENDERS
#20 - McKenzie Berryhill
-- Drafted by the Thorns with the first selection of the third round of the 2016 NWSL College Draft.
-- Started 65 of 76 career contests at Arizona State University.
-- Distinguished herself as one of the Pac-12’s top defenders in 2013 and followed that up with a 2014 campaign that saw her earn First-Team All-Pac-12 and First-Team NSCAA Pacific All-Regional honors.
-- In the summer of 2014, participated in U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team training camp.
#15 - Kendall Johnson
-- Played in 17 games for the Thorns, including 12 starts, during the 2015 NWSL season.
-- Made her Thorns FC debut, starting and logging 90 minutes in a 4-1 victory against Boston (4/11), tallying her third career NWSL assist, and her first for Thorns FC, on midfielder Mana Shim’s game-winning goal in the 38th minute.

#25 - Meghan Klingenberg
-- Acquired from the Orlando Pride via trade in January.

-- Started every match and played every minute on defense at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, helping the United States put together a streak of 540 minutes without allowing a goal during the tournament.
-- A FIFA Women’s World Cup All-Star selection, Klingenberg has earned 47 international caps since making her debut in 2011.
-- One of three University of North Carolina alumni on the Thorns FC roster.
#4 - Emily Menges
-- Started and played in 17 of Portland’s 20 matches during the 2015 NWSL season.
-- Had a stretch of 1,223 consecutive minutes without committing a foul, dating back to July 20, 2014 through the second half of Portland’s match against Houston on June 6, 2015.
-- Made her Thorns FC and professional debut April 12, helping the team record a shutout in a 1-0 road win at Houston.
-- The team’s third-round pick (No. 25 overall) in the 2014 NWSL College Draft, Menges joined Thorns FC in 2014.
#2 Katherine Reynolds
-- Acquired via trade from the Washington Spirit in February.
-- Katherine Reynolds, 28, appeared in 18 matches (all starts) for the Spirit during the 2015 regular season, logging 1,611 minutes.
-- Helped the Western New York Flash capture the 2013 NWSL regular-season title and advance to the NWSL Championship match, where she started both playoff games, tallying an assist in a 2-0 semifinal win against Sky Blue FC.
-- Began her professional career in Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) in 2010, appearing in two games for the Philadelphia Independence during her rookie season.
#16 - Emily Sonnett
-- Selected by the Thorns with the first overall selection in the 2016 NWSL College Draft.
-- Received her first cap with the U.S. Women's National Team on October 25, 2015 against Brazil.

#5 - Kat Williamson

#18 - Michelle Betos
-- In 2015, Betos was named NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year and NWSL Best XI.
-- Named NWSL Player of the Week in 2015 as the first goalkeeper in NWSL history to score a goal after scoring a last-gasp equalizer with a diving header in the 95th minute of a 1-1 draw against FC Kansas City on Jun 19.
-- Debuted for the Thorns in June 2014.
-- Ranked second in University of Georgia women's soccer history with 26 career shutouts and 48 career wins.
#24 - Adrianna Franch
-- Played in the Norwegian Toppserien for Avaldsnes IL during the 2015 season.
-- Selected with the sixth-overall pick by the Western New York Flash in the 2013 NWSL College Draft.
-- In her rookie season with the Flash, Franch started all 22 regular season games and both matches in the playoffs, posting a record of 10-4-8 during the 2013 regular-season.
-- A 2013 NWSL Second XI selection, Franch registered a league-best 0.91 goals-against average, while also leading the NWSL in saves (98) and registering seven clean sheets.
