The 2023 edition of Stand Together Week got off a a smashing start this week with volunteers heading out into the city.

Thorns FC coaches Vytas and Rob Gale joined volunteers from Providence alongside club staff at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore to help with receiving and sorting new items in their store. Meanwhile, another set of volunteers removed invasive English Ivy and Himalayan blackberry at the Nadaka Nature Park & Garden alongside Friends of Trees. Over at Project Lemonade, volunteers checked in foster youth shoppers and helped with their retail store at Lloyd Center.

Stand Together Week, now in its 12th year, is a comprehensive, week-long community initiative that supports dozens of nonprofit projects and provides in-person volunteer opportunities across the city.
