PHOTOS | A host of Thorns players close out 2023 Stand Together Week

The 2023 edition of Stand Together Week ended strong on Saturday with a host of Thorns FC players joining volunteers from Providence at a nature restoration project in West Linn with SOLVE. 

Thorns general manager and president of Thorns FC operations Karina LeBlanc, head coach Mike Norris plus players Becky Sauerbrunn, Hina Sugita, Gabby Provenzano, Shelby Hogan, Natalie Beckman, Janine Beckie, Lauren Kozal and Rocky Rodríguez all pitched in removing ivy and weeds at the location.

Stand Together Week, now in its 12th year, is a comprehensive, week-long community initiative that supports dozens of nonprofit projects and provides in-person volunteer opportunities across the city.

Special thanks to partners Coca-Cola, NW Natural, Providence, Safeway, TikTok, Umpqua Bank and Zayo for helping support organizations focused on serving youth, the environment, and social equity across the Portland metro area.
