The U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team is holding a seven-day training camp in North Carolina, and heading to camp: Thorns FC Academy midfielder Shaela Bradley.
U.S. U-17s head coach Katie Schoepfer has called in 23 players for her first camp as coach from June 4-11 with Bradley making her first appearance at a U-17 level. She has participated in national team programs at the U-14 and U-16 levels previously.
The La Center, Wash., native is having a standout season for the Thorns Academy. Bradley was previously named to the West team for the Continental Tire National Selection Game; an ECNL all-star event held in Phoenix in March.
The group of U.S. U-17 players in camp are age-eligible for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, and will become the U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team on Aug. 1.
