Thorns FC Academy Class of 2022 graduates nine players to the collegiate ranks

PORTLAND, Ore. – It’s the season of pomp and circumstance. While we celebrate graduating seniors throughout our community, the club would like to recognize Portland Thorns FC Academy’s Class of 2022.

Nine seniors will be moving on to play at the collegiate level, including two players staying home in the Rose City to play at the NCAA Division-I level at Portland State University.

  • Forward Kendrick Dahlin – Pomona College (Calif.)
  • Defender Darian Ehrmantraut – Rollins College (Fla.)
  • Midfielder Maxine Fuhrer – Dominican University of California (Calif.)
  • Defender Haley Glass – St. Catherine University (Minn.)
  • Midfielder Gema Granados – Puget Sound University (Wash.)
  • Midfielder Kaitlyn Jones – Portland State University (Ore.)
  • Goalkeeper Julia Pinnell – Point Loma Nazarene University (Calif.)
  • Forward Makena Speer – Portland State University (Ore.)
  • Goalkeeper Abby Winkler – Pacific Lutheran University (Wash.)

The club would also like to recognize graduating seniors Sophia Navas and Kaila North for their commitment and dedication during their time with the Academy.
