PORTLAND, Ore. – Sixty of the top U-15 players across the United States have been called in to a U-15 Women’s Youth National Team Talent ID Camp in San Diego, Calif, from Sept. 7-13. One of those invited players is Portland Thorns FC Academy midfielder Anastasia Showler-Little.

The ID camp is led by U.S. Soccer Director of Talent Identification Mirelle Van Rijbroek and U-15 WYNT head coach Katie Schoepfer, who have separated the pool of players into three teams of 20 players based upon region.

In addition to on-field competition, the goal of the camp is to aid in player development on and off the field.

Showler-Little is one of 20 players on the West roster, featuring players primarily from California, Utah and Washington.
