Portland Thorns FC and Your Local Toyota Dealers are partnering to honor difference-makers in the Portland community throughout the 2019 NWSL season. For tonight’s match, we are proud to honor Gretchen Stelter. Gretchen is an advocate for gender equity and has been working with Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest since 2012. Her continued dedication has been seen in a multitude of ways since joining Girls Inc. On top of rappelling down a building to fundraise, dedicating her time at the Power of the Purse, and supporting youth as a media professional, Gretchen has led and mentored a group of girls in SE Portland for over four years. This dedication has led to an increase in the number of youth Girls Inc. serves, all due to Gretchen’s constant connection and investment in the youth she works with each week.
