Thorns FC look to continue their unbeaten run Saturday when they host NJ/NY Gotham FC at Providence Park (7:30pm PT, TICKETS, Paramount+). Here are some key numbers to know ahead of the match in the latest Thorns Tekkers.

Thorns FC extended their unbeaten streak to seven games (3-0-4) with a 2-2 draw at OL Reign on July 10. It is the fifth time Portland has had an unbeaten run of at least seven matches in NWSL play, which is tied with the Chicago Red Stars and OL Reign for most such streaks in league history.

Portland is unbeaten against NJ/NY Gotham FC in 10 straight matches (5-0-5) across all competitions, dating back to June 27, 2018.

The Thorns are tied with the Chicago for most players with at least one goal and one assist recorded this season (Yazmeen Ryan, Olivia Moultrie, Natalia Kuikka, Becky Sauerbrunn, Hina Sugita, Sophia Smith). All six players have registered both a goal and an assist for Portland in the 2022 campaign.

Meghan Klingenberg’s assist against OL Reign was the 18th of her NWSL career since the beginning of the 2017 season (including playoffs). Only three players have more assists in that span – Yuki Nagasato (22), Sofia Huerta (22) and Jessica McDonald (20).

Kelli Hubly has played all 990 minutes this season for Thorns FC, more than any other player on the team. She is one of just seven field players in the league that has played every minute for their club in the 2022 campaign.
