The Portland Timbers Cascadia Cup match Sunday against Seattle Sounders FC, presented by SeatGeek (1:45pm PT, TICKETS, FREE on Apple TV on MLS Season Pass, FOX) includes a few additional elements that you'll want to head to Providence Park early for.
First, the club is honoring AAPI Heritage Month which will include pregame performances on the SeatGeek Plaza at Gate F by Lion and Dragon Dancers at 12pm and Tahitian Dance at 12:30pm.
The first 6,500 fans receive a Timbers crossbody bag, courtesy of SeatGeek. The bag's design includes a "Soccer City USA" strap as well as a log grain interior print.
Finally, Timbers midfielder Diego Chara will be recognized for his MLS-record 377 matches with a single club prior to kickoff in a special pregame ceremony prior to the national anthem.
